| How do i change the bulbs on my 1993 impreza? I bought new headlight bulbs and i cant figure out how to change them. I can see the old bulbs clips in the engine bay, but when i squeeze them and pull nothing happens, i mean i put some muscle into it and they dont even budge? Am i even pulling at the right place hahaha?

| remove the cable that plugs into the back of the head light bulb. remove the dust/rain rubber boot and set it aside. pinch the metal clip that holds the light bulb in place, and rotate it downward. pull the light bulb out. if it does not pop out, there is a chance that whomever put the previous bulb in, did it incorrectly and you'll have to be careful, but use quite a bit of force to remove the old bulb. i would suggest 1 or 2 small flathead screw drivers and a LOT of patience. |

| yeah i am having the same problem with my 02 rs, spent 45 mins this arv trying to get the bloody cap off the back of the light. Im starting to think the previous owner stuffed up here. I am able to remove the bulb from the casing but its still connected to the wiring loom and cap on the back. oh well il be trying again tomorrow.

| at one point, the original bulbs in my 99RS were hell to remove. 2 small screw drivers, and slowly working them back and forth did the job. since that time, i've not had an issue at all with them. |
