Default battery relocate placement and is it worth it?

is there any noticeable difference in handling characteristic.... not anything huge but is it worth it to relocate.....

and if so should it be placed in the middle or to one side or what to even out weight distribution....

my car is gutted and a fuel cell is going in spare tire are so infront of that or behind or what?

on other cars ive done i mounted in the center infront of the fuel cell but they were also fwd only.... idk if it would make any difference this being awd but im just wondering

its over 35lbs OVER the front wheel, cant go wrong.

I made a stainless box for my battery, and it will sit on the drivers side right behind the seat, basically over the rear axle.

i was thinking centering in the car or even slightly towards pass side to offset driver weight

Weight distribution front/back on these cars is roughly 65/35.

If you want to offset the nose heavy-ness mount it as far back as possible in the trunk. If you want to help lower the C of G of the vehicle mount it on the floor behind the passenger seat. You want to mount it on the right side of the vehicle to help offset some of the weight of the driver.

As far as will you notice a difference it depends on how in tune you are with your car. Some people will say "yes, it makes a difference" and others will say "I didn't notice a difference"

One other thing I forgot.

If you are using a lead-acid battery, you need to mount it in a sealed box that is vented to the outside of the vehicle. If you use a AGM type battery then you don't have to vent it.

it is helpful to move it if you are gonna run a FMIC. Otherwise, it wont make much of a difference.
