Default How hard is installing cruise controll?

so I just picked up a 99 2.5RS. But It doesn't have cruise ! What OEM parts will I need to install one? does it require it to be connected to a factory harness or whatnot? is this harness able to be found ?

The 99 RS's I've done swaps on that did not have CC, also did not have any of the wiring for it. So to add it would be a lllllllllllllot of work.

They should have the wiring for at the very least the brake switch, vacuum unit and cc brain. I've never actually added it so I don't know just how complete the wiring may be but it looks to me like its all there.

Not that bad. locating the parts is the hardest part. 98 and up should be easier though. first gen is rare.

IIRC cruise control was a dealer installed option.

I have most of the parts that I took off of my car when I did the swap. Let me know if you want them, and we can work something out.

Brake switch sure but not for the vacuum unit or the cc brain. Or at least it was that way on my friends 99 rs

I haven't done it yet. I think it is an old link because it didn't work for me as well. I was planning on getting the main parts used and then going to the dealer and getting the rest of the smaller parts.
