Smile Stock ECU remap/ flashes

so i cant get accessPORT for my 07 2.5i N/A , but i was told by my local performance shop that i can have my stock ecu flashed or re-map wich in a way i guess is similar to an access port minus the different maps........ is it a good idea if im sticky with N/A and not making my car in to real big beast machine

I would say its worth having your car tuned professionally if you get a full exhaust (headers, hfc/no cat, etc.), intake, & cams. A good tune can really make those mods work together and get the most out of them.

I-Speed/Crawford makes very reputable maps for our cars. The only thing is that I'm not 100% if they work with an 07. Here's the link though:
