:EDIT: Ok now that I think about even when revving in nuetral my friends car's BOV makes a normal noise and it's only making like 1 psi in neutral..so it can't be that its just the way it sounds under low PSI. So how can I stop the compressor surge?

| looser spring or a BOV that is designed for a low boost setup. have you still not contacted whoever made your turbo kit? im sure you could get all this figured out in a matter of minutes if you call them. |

| Sell your car, and get a civic. Problem solved. Your not worthy of a turboed subaru.

| could it just be your wastegate opening and closing? I bet it's your wastegate. They do that flutter sound as they vent exhaust gasses past the turbo. It is normal. It is a little weird if you have never heard it before. If everything is plumbed correctly with your vacuum lines in the right spots it should be fine. |

| On light boost, it'll flutter. Some people experience fluttler running a FMIC due to more air in the system as a whole than less air in the system of a TMIC. Ever hear those Supra's revving and the BOV chirping flutter?
