I was over at my buddies house trading my miata for a 04 zx10r when travis (the guy who built the car) pulls up in none other than that wrx. So I've seen it in person and it's the epitome of ridiculous (in a good way).

To mount the lsX in a subie? Man there is no telling what he did to put it in there, I doubt he even knows.

Umm...it's pretty transparent. I just don't feel like fabricating up the transmission cross member. The pitch stop mount needs to be pulled off, and the engine cradle needs to be made.

I'd rather spend my time/money building a tree house in a high voltage power line tower. As it'd make more sense.

Great work! I have thought about this swap amongst a few other motors. The Subaru platform is very open in the fact you could drop in just about anything in there. I would expect to see more engine swaps in the future, myself for one!
To those that are hating Who cares you don't have to drive it, own or be seen in it. Let's face it if I put in a Porsche GT-3 enginge people would be "Sweet!!!!"
Engine swaps are part of the automotive culture, we have been doing it since the introduction of the automobile and will continue.

I must say great choice of engine, the LS series is known for it's great power band and product support. I had a 04 GTO with a bolt on blower and SLP exhaust making 525WHP no other mods all for less than 7K.
Enjoy it man it's bad a$$!
