| Won't do anything. Stock tune is way too aggressive already (i.e. not even 93 octane could take advantage of all the timing the engine could possibly run). You can, however, modify a few things for changes in driveability, such as throttle mapping, but that's about it. Nothing to squeeze out of the stock tune.

| First off, chipping is not really the way to tune a new age subaru. You can reflash (reprogram) the ecu with opensource software or an accessport. Now there is not much more top end power you can extract from the rs, but you can change the response of the engine. Granted you will need to know how to tune and have all of the needed tuning tools, such as a wide band oxygen sensor, and datalogging equipment (new accessport or a tactrix cable). One thing about the stock tune on the rs, they target 14.7 to 1 afr damn near to readline, which is good for fuel economy, but terrible for knock control and power output. So you can surely obtain more low end torque from this engine, in sacrifice of fuel economy if you add more fuel in low rpm/ high load situations.
