| 2.7L | i think i now have one of the loudest exhausts! unresonated 3" piped to a flowmaster muffler. idle is louder than my WOT was with the N1. i need to get a resonator put in before i get a million tickets though.

| Premium Member | Mine is quite loud. I just have a Ractive straight-through muffler with a custom stainless rear section. I wanted a Magnaflow but the muffler shop only had the Ractive in stock. I don't much care for the muffler but I love the sound! I let my friend drive the car and I could hear him for almost a mile. The sad thing is that he wasn't even getting on it! The sound somewhat reminds me of a Porsche flat 6, but with only about 1/100 of the power with the 1.8! |

| 2.5L | How is the tip on your exhaust restrictive? And why do you have this opinion? The Borla is only a 2" diameter exhaust to begin with Im pretty sure. Go with something with a 2.25 or 2.5 in diameter.

| 2.0L | when i said tip i meant exhaust. my bad. what im saying is when i compare my exhaust to other rs's, it sounds like theres a cat or somthing in the piping holding back the exhuast. I put my hand over my tip and had somone rev the engine for me and then i did it on a tanabe unit and i could tell the tanabe had less pressure shooting out of it. |
