Ok, it's like this guys, the judges for this contest are Mikey B and I. We do not take the judging lightly we spent a sold hour talking over who should be in the contest. First things we looked at was members journal/number of pictures in post. If you did not have a MJ or you had more than one picture, sorry you got disqualified. So yeah, we take the rules we put in place seriously. Next is creativity and use of theme; thats the big one, if you were creative with the theme, we were more likely to look at it closer and talk about it. Next we looked at content, or what is all going on in your picture if you had something interesting going on it went onto our short list . And finally we look at quality of the picture. We knew that not everyone has the best cameras and we wanted the underdogs to have a chance in winning the contest. So, quality of the picture was not something we judged heavily.

Also, to clear one thing up, we by no means choose the final 12 by picking friends or people we like. We are looking at the picture and not the person behind it. Is that 100% clear with everyone.

If you would like to express your opinions about the contest please by all means PM Mikey B. We both look over the PM's and discuss them. But please keep your opinions out of the comments area, this is supposed to be a FUN contest and not a debate. Mikey B and I spent months getting this contest together and we are trying to bring fun, and new things to RS25.com. We care about this site and its members, and this is our why of thanking you guys and gals.
