| 2.5L RS-T | I have USDM STi seats. They do sit higher, but not all that much. Bolt them in and see how they feel to you. And you do have to use the seatbelt buckle off of your RS seats. I have thought about swapping the RS base assembley on to my STi seats, but just haven't had time. Plus I am used to the way the STi seats sit now.

| 8.8L of EJ goodness | I prefer how they sit over the RS seats. Its only the passenger side that sits to high IMO.

| I also need a bit more info about this. I just put USDM STi seats in my RS and they sit WAY to high for me. I am 6' 8" and now my head almost touches the roof. Does anyone have a link to a detailed write up? Any real tricks involved? Thanks, Evan |

| I swapped MY02 wrx seats with my MY00 RS seat rails fine... you first have to unhook the cover bottom of the back. ![]() Then you can pull up the cover on the side with the reclining handle and you unbolt 2 14mm bolts ![]() Then you go on the other side and unscrew the cover with a phillips head and unscrew the next phillips head inside the cover ![]() ![]() Then you can take the whole back piece off and go on the other side and unscrew 3 phillips behind a popoff cover and 1 phillips on the handle ![]() Then take off the cover and unbolt 2 12mm bolts on each side ![]() ![]() you can now take the bottom off the rail assembly and be sure to unhook the airbag wire from the assembly. do the same on both seats and reassemble in reverse order and you are set... It mainly lowers the back part of the seat from what i noticed. The writeup i just did is for passenger side, driverside is almost the same I think

| 2.5L RS-T | I think I will attempt this on my STi passenger seat this weekend. It would be nice to have that one sit lower since it sits higher than the drivers side.
