| So ive been searching around and cant find anything hitting my subject right on. My 94 L wagon came with no radio in it when I go it.. Upon checking the wires for my powers and ground. I have my hot at all times is good. My hot in acc/run is 12v all the time. Even pulling the #17 fuse for The radio acc/run power it still has 12v. This leads me to beleave that somone tamperd with this wire somewhere in its routing or its shorted to power. I traced what I could of the wire I see no signs of tampering. I also wiggled and moved the wire loom with no change in voltage so if its a short to power its stuck on their good! One other thing I also checked was power at #17 fuse. It has power with key on and no power with key off like it should. so my problem lies between the fuse box and the radio. What im looking for is if this is common if theirs someone who knows where the problem could be. I have wiring diagrams and pinout chart already. Also their is no other circuits branching off fuse 17. It goes straight to the radio only. I would apriciate any advise and or leads in new directions for this problem!

| Ok so spent some more time on it today. I was mistaken on the fuse thing I was pulling and testing the wrong fuse. So it does kill power to radio acc when pulling 17. So the problem lies before the fuse box. The biggest break I made was. when you turn the key off you still have 12v at radio acc. but if I hit my wiper switch with the vehicle off it drains the power in a matter of about 30 seconds-1 min then its at 0v. as soon as you turn the key on it powers up like it should. But its holding voltage like a capacitor. so what I did was unplugged the wiper motor and bam it works like it should 12v keyed and drops right to 0v when unkeyed. Is my wiper motor acting like a capacitor and holding voltage that is then backfeeding to my radio acc and cig lighter?? Seems unlikly but I supose its possible??? Thanks again! Atleast its more narrowed down now...
