Also, to clear up some of the misunderstandings, the car has the stock automatic transmission INSTALLED and is GOOD RUNNING CONDITION! Sorry about any confusion. I had an EXTRA five speed that I was planning to include for those inclined to do a swap but I ended up selling that one separately!


I recently bought a 2004 WRX so now I'm selling my old rs so that I can pay off my new car. Its a 2001 2.5rs sedan in the older dark blue color with 152k miles. I changed the oil every 3000 miles using mobil 1 oil. Last oil change was at 151029, so its pretty new. Just had brand new all season tires put on it mounted aligned and balanced by sullivan this summer so they are still in great condition. I replaced the suspension with after market KYB GR2s they provide a much smoother ride than my WRX and were also only put on last summer so are still fairly new. I also put a cobb intake on in place of the stock intake but i still have the stock intake. fairly new Borla headers on it sounds really nice with the stock sti exhaust tip. I replaced the front belts at 135k miles. Car had a small collision at a stop sign but the car went underneath the other one so only the hood got messed up. I had just gotten the car repainted the same color so everything else looks brand new and shiny but the new hood is a little dull and the passenger side fender has a twist in the front of it. Other than that the car is fine. Unfortunately it is an automatic though so that might disappoint some of you. When i got my new WRX I took my after market stereo out of the rs so currently it has no speakers or headunit but I have an extra aftermarket stereo, the stock rear speakers from the wrx and pioneer front two way speakers which I'm debating putting back in or not it depends on the interest. Also the cat back separated into two pieces its still overlaps and holds but it needs to either be rewelded or swapped out for another oem or aftermarket catback. The engine runs fine and has been meticulously maintained. I ran fuel injector cleaner every oil change, always kept a full tank, let her warm up before drivin her in the winter etc etc. It is still running fine and I would expect another 50k miles out of it at least.

This car can either be fixed up to be used as a daily driver or can be sold to someone who wants to do an rsti swap either way I just started my first year in college and being in premed I dont have time to work full time and make enough money or do enough work on the car to fix it up at this time so I'm hoping to sell it to someone that will give it a good new home and take care of it in a way that I cant at this point in time.

It kelley blue books at 4.5k so Im looking to get as much as I can out of it so i can pay off my old car but I am also open to offers. Please dont low ball me people on this site should know the potential of these cars when put into the right hands so let me know if your interested.
