Default Introducing RiteWire LLC.

Introducing RiteWire LLC.

Hey Folks,

Many of you already know me, as Paul of ECS Performance.
Over the course of the past 5 Years in business, ECS has rapidly grown, to become one of New Englands Premiere Subaru Performance Shops. With that growth has come many challenges for us. One of my largest challenges, has been keeping up to the demand placed on me in supporting the Subaru Conversion Market.

As ECS' sole owner, and Lead Tuner, I was finding it quite difficult to manage my business, tune 10+ Cars a week, and be the only eletrical engineer at ECS.

I struggled to find a balance where I could make the time necessary to build conversion harnesses at a rate that was acceptable to our customers. As a result, I started noticing a trend, which was that while I was still able to provide a great product, my customers where no where near as excited about they're experiance with the company. This was directly related to the turn around time associated with the service.

As a result, I started RiteWire LLC. As of January 1st 2010. ECS, will no longer support Subaru Wiring Conversion work. Said work will be handled by RiteWire LLC. By, completely seperating the two, I am able to focus directly on my cutomers needs at both businesses. At RiteWire, those needs are providing you all with a PNP harness for your Subaru conversion, that will last you for years to come. At ECS, It is building your subaru from the ground up, just how you have always envisoned it.

I'm Sure by now, your wondering, ok, what does all of this mean for me? The customer!

RiteWire's Goals

- Grade A Customer Support
- 1 Week Turn Around time!!
- Free Technical Advice and Support with the installation of your harness.
- (Core Harness Program) More Options for your Subaru Conversion Needs

With RiteWire LLC, I decided I wanted to take things one step further. With Every Harness that is built by RiteWire, We will be including step by step instructions on how to install your harness once recieved. This package will also include, tech tips that we have learned over the years while building these unquie vehciles, that will ensure proper installation, and reliabilty for years to come.

Core Harness Program: As Stated above, "A BIG STEP FURTHER".

With our Core Harness program, you can order a pre made harness for your application. Its really quite simple. You place an order, We then send out the premade harness. Once you recieve the premade harness from RiteWire, you install the harness, and send back your core harnesses within 7 Days. RiteWite then inspects them, and if they meet our requirements for the core harness program, you are then credited back the extra fee from the Core Harness Program.

Pricing:

Currently, the pricing structure will remain the same.

Merge any non-turbo and turbo harnesses (non AVCS, Motor/Engine only)
$600

Merge any non-turbo and turbo harnesses (With AVCS, DCCD, DBW, Engine/Trans)
$950

Payment Forms Currently Accepted:

Certified Bank Check, Money Order

All Payment needs to be made out to RiteWire LLC.

I look forward to better serving this community, with all of your Subaru Wiring Conversion Needs.

Great Pricing! Just out of curiousity, how will this save you time? Does this mean you will be less involved with ECS and focus more on this, while you have others work at ECS?

This will allow me to run 2 seperate schedules. It does mean that I will be at ECS less, however, It allows me to focus on my duties seperatly, as opposed to being at ECS, trying to do wiring, and constantly being pulled away. RiteWire is about a 10 minute ride away from ECS. I can hide!!!

What is the core charge? Mainly because I need to source a wrx harness for my swap, and it could potentially just be cheaper and easier if I sent you back my RS portion and purchased the wrx part from you.

The Core Program is quite simple.

Many people simply do not have the luxury of another car when thinking about converting theirs. So, we have put the initial money into stocking our shelves with every harness imaginable. With that said, we can now get an order placed on a Monday out on a Wednesday, simply by taking the harnesses off the shelf and merging them together. The Customer is charged a refundable core fee for each harness used in the process. So, let’s say you have a 1998 Impreza and want a 2002 WRX wiring harness merged into your 1998 one. We will have the 1998 and 2002 harnesses here in order to speed up the process. Once the customer receives the RW merged harness, installs it, and sends back to RW the harnesses already in their possession, they will then receive a refund for the core charges.

I will sell our core harnesses as well, but they carry a decent price.

Wow, this really makes things so much simpler for people to do swaps. I do have some decent electrical background, but this is a huge time saving process. Ill most definately keep you in mind this year when i can get my hands on a motor. You stock both Map/Maf harnesses, cable/dbw throttle? all that good stuff?

Thanks! We thought it was a pretty sweet idea As for the clippings, I actually do have them, and plan to open a store soon to sell them. So many people need that junk I figure whats 5 bucks a plug when you'd other wise have to buy a whole harness. What do you need. I'm sure I have it.

Edit... After re-reading your post, I realized that you were just asking if i would be stocking the different year Impreza harnesses, either MAP or MAF, and on the flip side, DBW or Cable, and the answer is yes, I will have all of them in stock. But seriously, the clippings Idea is killer right?

Bump.... Just want everyone to get familiarized with this change over. We are still getting a ton of Email and Phone Calls at ECS on these services. Deffinately to be expected, but I just want to make this transition is known, and smooth as possible.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!
