| Lets just focus on the wide body kit for now. haha. my big complaint with FRP is that more often than not its not made with glass mat (similar to carbon but glass) but its made with strand. which cracks chips and breaks easily. Think old ricer cars with white dots all over the front end from rock chips and pits. if you could make the complete construction out of carbon (no FPR over lay BS) then it would be a solid piece. you could blend it with Kitty hair and all would be well. there is still a big concern that if there is damage that the composite part is MOLDED on to your metal structure. and repairing mat damage is not simple. you cant simply just patch it. it will effect the integrity of the part as a whole. where with a metal panel you can weld in a new section and be on your way.

| Premium Vendor | The problem with a pure carbon peice, lets be honest...who here would pay for the Carbon constructed the right way using pure carbon, vac infusion, etc. You're talking about $3000-4000. Even for metal parts, I don't have the facility to do it. For a $900 kit, if a part breaks, replacement is cheap. Lets just figure a rear quarter for $125. I have a mix of good construction and price point. If I did the other approach, I would loose my price point and upset our balance. |

| Here are a couple links to check out. GC8 WRC Widebody Kits - NASIOC Carbon Roofs and GC Widebody Kits - NASIOC Steve has done a great job with construction the pieces are very durable and made the "correct" way. my main gripes with his kit are: 1) does not use stock bumpers (this drives up the price of the kit) 2) WRC sized wheel well openings (looks goofy for tarmac or street cars) 3) fuel door is non existent Sometimes you need to offset the balance of cheap and good. If you want to be the guy that makes the cheap stuff. that is fine but your going to loose the customer base of people looking for quality parts. I think a middle road can be established. Im not here to blow smoke up your ass either, this is something I am truly interested in I just havent seen anything that is worth buying yet.

also making the kit work with the every day street car using the stock wheel well openings will help the normal consumer buy the kit as well. The only similarity I am suggesting you match is the construction quality.

| Did I read you correctly when you stated that a replacement quarter panel would be $125?
