|  Updates to the Member Classifieds System (Member Input Requested) Based on the suggestions of both members and moderators, I have added 60+ selectable country/state prefixes that will be required when a member creates a new classified thread. This should make it easier for buyers and sellers to do business with other members from their region when browsing the member classifieds. To see an example, check this forum for my thread: FS: Exterior - Subaru Impreza GC8 & RS Forum & Community: RS25.com Example of what a thread with the new prefix will look like in the forum: FS (USA,CA): Carbon Fiber Car Cover, waterproof, new never used Do you like or dislike this? -------------------------------- IMPORTANT NOTE: Currently, the moderator team is debating the issue of whether to limit posting new for sale threads to premium members or members who have been active on the site for 90 days. This rule has been instituted on other sites and has helped curtail a lot of the fraud that we have seen on the forums. Feel free to share your opinion in this thread or your thoughts about these recent changes.

I'm glad you decided to put up a restriction on posting to the classifieds. I was going to say a post count minimum, but then you get people saying things like "cool" and "good" and "ok" in random threads. This is a much better solution!

| I am for the active for 90 days thing... Not so much the premium member only thing, as that would severely limit the amount of things being sold on here

| ^+1. i think a lot of members that sell their items here are just regular members, and having the privilege of selling given to only premiums can drive away potential and current members that might want to sell. 90 days seems about good, but what about post count limit as well? maybe at least 50, because some members may have been here for a long time (more than 90days) yet still have not really contributed or showed any signs of being either a reputable person or just in here to scam people.. just my two cents. |

| Ok, clearly I didn't emphasize the more important points. Here would be the conditions we are thinking about requiring before you can post a classified ad: 1. Premium Member; OR 2. Regular Member for 90 days Its one or the other. If either condition is satisfied, then the member would be able to post.
