|  i like the outline idea, but i remember coming here before i owned a subaru and loving the fact that members had their pics in the banner. Maybe a mix of the two?

I think banners are most important to people that are new to the site, those are the people we are trying to impress. If copyright issues are a problem we could always ask matt to change the banner a little to fit the bill if he doesnt mind. That banner is the perfect balance between simple and attractive.
