|  matt2point5rs's Member Journal Well, hello everyone. I'm finally getting around to making my member journal, even though it is a bit late in the game. To start off with, my name is Matt and I hail from Butler, PA. I bought a 1999 Subaru 2.5RS from Mount Chestnut Auto in Butler, PA for $5800 in aspen white. It's a five-speed, one previous woman owner, no accidents or claims, clean title. I'll post a pic here of it about 5 minutes before I left the lot. Since then, I've basically just played around with it. Nothing special. Changed the intake a multitude of times, taken care of some maintenance (differential, engine, oil, etc.) and spent most of my free time cleaning it up (pointless) and washing it. I've had help from a few friends along the way, mostly for stuff I suck at such as electronics, wiring, and paint. And so far, nothing important has been broken and it's still in running order! Success! 1. Brand-new Subie 2. Intake Adjustments 3. Ricing 4. Unricing 5.Painting 6. Current state of the car 7. I'm broke 8. Clutches and Headgaskets 9. | Tinkered around a little bit for the next few weeks/months/years. I lost track of time. Turns out there is no clock on the underbody. Wound up with this intake:  also played with spraypaint on the lids... |

| I also took the stock rims and painted them a nice metallic blue and did some paint on the hood. (the stripes are going away i promise.)   |
