I went to New Jersey in late August of 2006 to pick up my beautiful Impreza, drove it for a few months, then joined up with the STLSubaru club in December of 2006 with a nearly bone-stock 2.5RS. It is amazing how far I have come and how far the car has come in the past 12 months.

That first local Suby meet I went to. Bone stock, Dec '06


Shortly after that I ditched the ugly amber front and side turn signals in favor of the clear versions. Also, I painted the orange bumper vents flat black. I still say that was one of the best asthetic mods I have ever done for the car. Those amber lights are ugly!
January rolled around and I was able to secure the best deal since sliced bread on a set of OZ Superleggera rims from a local Suby member. I agreed to meet a man that I had only ever talked to on the internet in a dark parking lot at 11:30 at night to do the exchange. All worked out well, and I got a baller set of rims for a great price!

Second Meet, STLSubaru Brewery Tour. Had a blast!



Focused on saving my money and keeping the car clean. Kept my eyes peeled for a set of JDM clear corner lights so I was still rockin' the US-market orange corners for a long time. Only change here is a super clean car and a JDM front badge.


The first annual STL Subaru Snowdrift Extravaganza at the Muny in Forest Park. Had a great time with some of the members eatin' at the Boathouse then gettin' loose in the upper parking lot of the muny. Still pretty well stock except for the rims, JDM badging, and clear turn signals (front/side). These are some highlights:





March came around and I was finally able to acquire a set of JDM corner lights for a good price. They came off of a 1996 WRX in the motherland, shipped to my door for a little under 30 bucks. Good deal!

One Lou Fusz Subaru Dealership Meet in May:

I went through a phase that I like to call my "Ricer stage". It was an interesting look, but I have since changed direction with the car.:


Acquired an 05 STi exhaust around the end of May, had the midpipe modified to fit my car and removed the resonator for a little more rumble. Debadged the trunk somewhere around this time as well. Exhaust and debadging evident in the following photo:


HID's, a DIY lip, gauges, club stickers, and a few JDM bits were added throughout the summer:




Sept. 29th, another Lou Fusz Dealer Meet


Winter '07, new suspension (springs, shocks, strut mounts, RSB), upgraded lighting. Started rockin' a Japanese front license plate. Have yet to be hassled for it so I think it's on for keeps.

It's about 25 minutes East of the Narita Airport. A couple friends/coworkers taught over there.

Wow thanks for telling me this! I have wondered since I got it what exactly it says LOL.
Thanks for the compliments. The next few weeks should bring a few cool parts because I collected a fair amount from insurance due to a wreck I was in. I already ordered JDM powerfold heated mirrors and I am negotiating for rear spats and aeroguards.
