Default Major Johnson's Rally Blue RS

My name is Chris, my nickname is Major Johnson, and this is my Subaru RS!

This was my old ride, it got totaled when a youngster hit me:

Then in March of 2006 I found a Subaru RS on auto trader for $6,000 about 120 miles away. After two trips I had unknowingly bought something that would become a part of me!

First picture with camera phone:

Mods were limited when I got it: STi hare badge, Fuel pressure regulator (I'm guessing had juice), Borla Muffler, sun roof guard, cleared stock corners, clear side indicators, and white painted vents

First thing's first, threw on some tint. I'm so glad I spent my high school graduation money on KYB AGXs and H&R springs, cost so much I probably would not have done them any other time. The summer after graduation I went to a muffler shop and spent $100 on a 2.25" cat-back.

Then I let my mom borrow my car for literally one day and it spun a bearing. Eventually we spent $4k and got it back with another RS engine and totally 100% again. No pictures for that.

I decided to start working on the exterior and looks of my RS. I noticed some clear was coming off the scoop so I sprayed that flat black and due to my love of European market cars I got a vanity plate for the front.

I added some floor mats and Subaru gauge cluster

Next, I added some amber corners and a Borla replica header (love it!).

Then...
I added some Brembo OEM sized rotors with Hawk HPS pads. No pictures for that.
I also had some clutch failure. After a very, very long weekend of doing a "clutch job", we found out it was just a mere fork. It was a great experience though considering I learned how to do it all myself for the first time.

I putt on some ebay black headlamps, sickness with amber corners.

Injen CAI and ebay ground wire kit

Holy moly my life sucked when I skidded in to the back of a truck on the highway.

$4300 later a brand new looking front end! Thank goodness for no engine damage! If you noticed I had a 22B replica wing but was forced to sell it to make up for the insurance deductible Ironically I added the 22B vents 20 minutes before the accident.

My recently purchase JDM Ver 7 lip!

JDM Cluster

My journal seems lame now that I'm reading it.
However, I've been through a lot since I've had it and I've met a lot of fantastic people because of it.
I definitely believe that the car a person drives resembles the person themselves.

I love my RS!

Car looks great as always.
Sucks about the $4k engine failure. It would have been a great chance for a swap.

Totally man. I've spent wayyy more modding + fixing the car than I did to own it.
