Default 93 Sedan buildup - easy does it.

1993 Subaru Impreza L
5MT, FWD
purchased 5/09

just decided to start a Journal for the Sedan now that I made the first mod. Don't have time now, so this will be the bone stock post, details, blah blah. Modding to come.

this post will be edited for content when I'm back home

Today I said good riddance to my project Wagon after totally stripping it down. So afterwards I went and bought the first mod for the Sedan so far:

No power adder, but it is a weight reduction! I now have a 93-96 L hood for sale on the cheap if anyone wants to come get it.

and now we're caught up. let's see what the Sedan will go through.

Waiting to see what's to come. I'm guessing you have a lot of parts leftover.

After seeing how your wagon looked, I can't wait to see this project!

You had quite the donor car so this should be exciting!

The donor car looked good on the outside, and had really good handling.

The wreck took the pretty parts. I sold the front and rear swaybars, all the old body parts, and the suspension.

The only thing that MIGHT make it onto the Sedan is the AWD conversion... which is under the blue tarp behind the car, from transmission to the rear brakes. I have plans with this car that don't use the parts from the old.

We iz starting fresh.

So, while I was in California I found the setup my 93 Sedan will be receiving. It's an EJ20g with a Version 6 transmission that I found on the cheap. Right now I'm in the searching for a place for me to work on the car, and once I do I am getting it shipped over here!

swap time is soooon

goodbye silly FWD rear subframe:

hello rear differential!

awd rear in, rear discs, and LSD

Car should be in driving condition next weekend. and the car is still FWD, so all I really did was add a bunch of dead weight.
