So I thought I'd start a journal about my progress on my 2000 Impreza RS SRP.

I bought it on April 3, 2009. Here are some pics of what it looked looked like:

Mod List:

Exterior:

-Clear corner lights, turn signals, and side markers
-Custom gunmetal painted headlight trim and corner lights

Lighting:

-Full LED taillights (Parking/Brake lights, turn signals, and reverse lights)
-LED front and side turn signals
-Custom LED engine bay lights
-Custom LED trunk lighting

Engine:

-Ganzflow style intake, painted gunmetal
-Paranoid Fabrications grounding kit
-NGK Iridium IX spark plugs
-06 WRX axleback exhaust
-M2 performance lightweight crank and alternator pulleys
-Group N exhaust hangers

Dressup:

-Aluminum battery tie-down, painted gunmetal

Suspension:

-WRX 17mm RSB
-Group N rear crossmember bushings
-Whiteline locking rear subframe bolts

Brakes:

-Hawk ceramic front brake pads
-H6 rear brake upgrade
-Hawk HPS rear brake pads

Drivetrain:

-Subaru Extra-S fluids in the tranny and rear diff

How it currently looks:

4/12/09:

The car is going in for body work. The rear quarters are rusting pretty good. It's time to cut out the old metal and put in some new stuff. Here's what they look like right now:

4/18/09:

Well, I got the car back this morning and it turned out great!! Here are some pics:

I also took that stupid black weather stripping off the inside of the fender well, for that's what probably started it:

4/25/09:

It was time for some new ceramic front brake pads. Here's the old vs. new:

Yes, at first I wasn't sure about it, but then I was hooked on it. I love the color now. It looks so good with silver trim, I mean the lighting and wheels.
