| Story Some of you may know that I owned a 1997 OBS. ![]() I recently traded the 1997 OBS for a 1993 L with a JDM EJ22T stroked to a 2.4. The car was built by Frantic Four in Tacoma/Seattle Washington. The swap was done back in 2005. I had a local shop check the motor before the trade. Leak/Ops check good. ![]() My best friend (Skoolymarm) documented this journey in his blog. It all starts on the first page. Here is his red frankenwagon, Hail2theThief's old GF, and mine after we got back home. ![]() I dyno'd the car at Surgeline Tuning in Portland, OR days after picking it up . Tim and his staff are great. My car dyno'd at 261hp and 279ft/lbs. Good numbers, but the motor is destined for more! Thats all for now. Enjoy some pictures. I'll try to work on the layout when I have more time. Cheers! ![]() ![]()

| *drool* God damn it looks amazing! I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think it's a good idea to be running a fuel cut defender. I saw a thread on another forum that was perty much a "What is fuel cut?" thread. It had a bunch of info on it and how you're not supposed to use it. I'll see if I can find it. EDIT: Found it. SHOULD I GET RID OF FUEL CUT? NO NO NO NO NO...Do not use any device to eliminate fuel cut. Fuel cut is there for a reason. If you are hitting fuel cut the ECU believes that you are moving more air than the fuel system can safely deliver. If you are having to eliminate fuel cut with some sort of defender either you have an inadequate fuel system, inadequate tuning tools, or a leak somewhere. Here's the thread: http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/freq...-fuel-cut.html
