Yeah, My RS has power everything and stock suspension. It's like riding a couch to work. Although it's slow!

On a side note: Drivesafe is having a sale on cages. $349 shipped for ERW or $599 shipped for DOM/Cromoly. They are 10 point cages! I'm buying mine are you buying yours?

I will do DOM and add on strut tower support and maybe an additional X in the rear section. Then powdercoat it orange before welding it in!

Oh, Christmas to myself. how I love you.

is erw approved for rally and stuff or is it pretty weak compared to the other kinds of metal available?

They are approved but I'm not 100% sure on the strength difference. I know DOM is drawn over mandrel so it is a little stronger I think and it looks smoother. Which I like.

Install would probably be cheap if you stripped the interior. I can take pics when I get my cage but I assure you they are quality. My friend has one for his impreza. I can also show alittle of how I will install mine.

If you payed someone for all the labor I can see it getting costly. lots of labor to strip interior and fit in cage and weld. And if you wanted more support then alot more work.

Drivesafe also makes bolt in versions for a little more. You can check there website or call them. They are out of Oregon but ship from PA.

Well then as a side not I had to trim them down as they hit the armrest when cranking. It was pretty easy but they no longer have the little crank ball on the end. So it is a little more of a pain in the ass but it works pretty well.

Gotcha. Should be nice.

Also if you don't mind could you PM me a list of everything you are using? Or you can post it here. I keep getting lost with all the other talk.
