| Circuit City had a really good deal on digital camera's, so I picked up a Sony Cybershot DSC-H7. It's a pretty sweet camera, so the following picture is obviously not the best it can do. I just took a quick snapshot to show the mudflaps and WRX decal. ![]()

| I did with the intention of putting the cartoonish "WRX" decal on. The guy I bought the car from took the time to mask around all the letters before painting the trunklid, so it is extremely obvious that the letters were there. The decal wouldn't cover all of that, so I chose to put them back on and get the old school WRX decal instead. Even so, I had to cut the clearcoat to remove the "Impreza" and "L AWD" decals. I need to get the trunk repainted. If you look below the lock, there's paint missing. I tried to remove a rogue Nasioc decal in the middle of winter and ended up removing paint instead.

| Why on Earth would anyone take the time to mask out letters that are just stuck on with adhesive? It probably took ten times longer than just ripping them off. |

| I've wondered the same thing. Nevertheless, you can see where the paint stops at the edge of the emblem, and the two different shades of white when I removed the emblem. They guy I bought the car from is known for cheap cars, but also for shoddy paint jobs. I've been in his paint booth. It was intimidating. You can't tell by the pics, but there is actually dust all in the paint on the trunklid. The paint is smooth, but there's black spots everywhere that I absolutely cannot remove.
