Thank you sir. That was weird though, I didn't know who I was talking to because I didn't know the video was lagging about a minute behind.

Shaved? Mine? Not exactly. If I remove the "S U B A R U" emblems, you'll the outline of them where there is no clearcoat thanks to a crappy paint job by the dealer I purchased the car from. I also had to cut a bit of clearcoat off to remove the Impreza L and AWD decals, where the WRX decal now sits.

Did you go to the Myrtle Beach auto x yesterday? If so, any pics and details on how it went?

No, we just bought a PS3 and HDTV on Saturday so I spent the weekend setting it up and driving the new GTR around Suzuka.

Oh cool, GT5 prologue? I cant wait until the real GT5 comes out although I dont have a PS3. You need to get xbox 360 and forza 2 as well so you can race with us in the forza league.

Bah. Forza is pretty sweet, but I can't justify buying a 360 just for that. I was given GT5 Prologue for Christmas, along with GTA IV. We just bought Little Big Planet this weekend because my girlfriend wanted a two-player game.

Any of those games in HD =

No, I mean I saw him talking to someone on the phone, but the conversations didn't match. I don't know if I sounded like a dick or something on the phone, I just want you to know I had no idea what was going on.

Well, other than being the first caller because I had my fingers on my keypad anyways.

Package from www.japanparts.com arrived yesterday, which surprised the hell out of me. I paid $7.00 to ship a 3lb package from Japan, and it arrived one week after I sent them payment. Pocket change.

One of the parts ordered was a new latch for my roof vent. Mine has a small piece broken off at the pivot-point, and I wanted to order a replacement before it broke on the other side. Not my doing, I bought the vent like that.

Also ordered are the apparently uber-rare OEM brackets to mount the foglight covers overtop the OEM foglights. Yuki said STi doesn't typically sell these without the foglight covers, but I lucked out and they located a set. Unfortunatly it was made very clear that they will not be able to locate another set like this if anyone else wanted the set without the purchase of the covers.

The OEM brackets are the weird little L shaped, individual brackets, aren't they?

If so, I got lucky enough to get a set along with my covers.

They look pretty simple - might be easy for people to fab up sets if needed.

I'd actually thought my old brackets (fused type) were original OEMs, and they worked really well..

What I *am* looking for is something like the OEM thumbscrews, but with a hex or torx head instead so they are semi tamper proof.

I'm not having any luck with finding an appropriate replacement..
