It's just Halloween getting to you.

I should upload a pic that I took in Gettysburg on Halloween a few years ago.

Oh, update:
The car is now sitting on fresh KYB GR2's, and unfortunately sits an inch higher than it did in the fall pictures I just recently took. Good for my mudflaps, bad for overall image. Still looking for a trade for Eibach or similar springs...

I finished the struts yesterday, and was going to drive it home until I was strongly advised to walk. When I had it up on the alignment rack today, I noticed that my toe was WAY off and I would have had quite a bit of tire wear just driving home and back.

Also, I measured today and the passenger side headlight puts out 19,000 lumens (correct unit?), while the drivers side only puts out 15,000. They're both Osram Silverstars, installed at the same time. I wonder if upgrading the wiring will remedy this or if it's the housing themselves.

Usually it's the other way around because of the additional length of the wire to the passenger side...

Is this because the old struts were worn? Seems wierd that they would effect ride height.

I replaced them because they were worn, but no that didn't have an effect on ride height compared to the old GR2's. The car was sitting on blown stock struts for those fall pictures as I had to exchange the GR2's.

There is something that KYB did with the struts that increase the ride height. I don't know if it's the bottom mounts or the spring perch, and I forgot to compare them to the old ones. I've noticed this on both of my Impreza's, and a few friends of mine said the same thing with their AGX's.

Ryno50485 is running the same S-Techs that I am, only on stock struts. With my KYB's, my car was about an inch higher. When I put the stock struts on, it lowered it down to his height.

Wierd. Is the place that you guys are getting them from giving you GD ones or something? Seems wierd that they would change the overall size of the strut body.

The springs are from a GD because the GC S-Techs are incredibly hard to find. They're slightly wider than the GC springs, but neither of us have had any problems.

The struts are definitely for the GC. I work at an auto parts store part time, and I made sure that the part numbers all matched up.

I took more pictures today with my car clean other than the bug splatters. I'll try to get them edited and uploaded over the next few days.
