Default Suede/Leather SHIFT BOOTS are here!

Shift boots are now available! You choose the color(s)/thread color! Boot doesn't fall down!

FAQ: This shift boot is the same size as the stock leather shift boot. You specify the color of the boot (you can make any combination of colors for front/sides. ex. have the front and back blue, sides gray) and choose a thread color.

In the next few weeks, I will introduce the boot for short shifters, make it available for other vehicles, and have other designs (such as 2 sections instead of 4)

I will have a Marino blue with black stitching and a black leather boot with red stitching in stock by Thursday.

WHAT DOES IT FIT: Currently this boot is for stock length 98-01 Imprezas.
-GD and 93-97 will be available by the end of the month hopefully

PRICING: This version of the boot is $35 SHIPPED! Boots in blue/gray ultrasuede will be $38 shipped. This is an introductory price get it while it lasts!

These boots will be on my updated website soon but right now the only way to pay (other than money orders is to send the money to my PayPal: arianhard18@aol.com.

PACKAGE DEAL Order a shift boot and have your door panels matching! Take $5 off your order. Here is the door panel ad: Door Panel Kits: improved instructions, GD available!

COMING SOON: Shift boots for more vehicles, E-brake boots, armrest pads, left elbow pad, universal camera mount

HOW THE BOOT STAYS UP: If you have either an aftermarket shift boot currently or an aftermarket shift knob, the shift boot falls down because it is not attached to the knob. If you look at the picture below the color choices below, the stock shiftboot when turned inside out has a rubber piece. This rubber piece is not visible when the boot is turned inside out and in fact makes it look better by making it flare a bit. Then my invention is a clamp around a adjustable rubber/plastic piece to keep the rubber from falling below a certain point. Thus keeping the boot right under the knob

SHIPPING: All of these boots will be custom made to your liking. Each one takes just under and hour so please allow for a few days to prepare it. I will be as quick as possible, orders taken on Thur/Fri will usually ship Monday, and orders taken earlier in the week will probably go out during the week. I always keep you updated though!

FREE SAMPLES: If you are interested in my products, please send me a PM with your name, address, up to 5 color choices!

COLORS: Please look at my next post for a photo/description of my colors. The leather boots have been troublesome on my sewing machine. My employee said that she was having problems with the leather being too thick (suede ones come out beautiful though!). I will look for a industrial grade sewing machine and keep everyone updated. EDIT: I am ordering new black leather that is normal thickness, so black leather boots will be available!

THREAD COLORS: You can have your boot made with white, black, red, blue, green, and silver thread! I can even give you samples of these.

By the way, a more professional version of my website will be here soon!

Thank you very much,
Andy Rianhard

COLORS:

Faux Leathers: (shift boots in leather not available until I pick up a industrial grade sewing machine. Apparently my employees machine make the suede boots perfectly but the leather is too thick. Will keep everyone posted)
1. Willow Green (pic does not show color well)
2. Medium Gray (light gray color, misrepresented in photo)
3. Black Perforated
4. Navy Blue
5. Dark Gray
6. Black

Suedes:
1. "My" STi blue
2. Marino blue ultrasuede (USDM STi- near perfect match)
3. Black
4. "My" gray- on sale
5. JDM gray ultrasuede

Tweeds:
1. Black
2. Blue (brighter in real life)
3. Red

Don't forget my door panel kits! Packages get $5 off! Door Panel Kits: improved instructions, GD available!

Here is the stock shift boot. Notice at the top it has a nice flare that won't collapse. This is due to the rubber piece shown in the next photo..

Here is the stock shiftboot inside out. My boots will have a similar piece that will be stopped from falling by a small clamp (not visible when boot is on obviously)

Here is the adjustable rubber piece with a clamp on it. Then the inner rubber piece on my boot and the stock boot can not slide down. You can't see this with the boot on, and it is only necessary with an aftermarket boot/aftermarket knob that doesn't have the boot clip.

Here is my current Redline shift boot, you can see how it has nothing to keep it against the knob. I like the looks but I am going to sell it so I can showcase all of my products in my own car

Here is my gray suede next to my JDM gray. The ultrasuede has the blue tint to it.

Here is picture of Marino blue (left) and my STi blue (right)

This is the only picture that captures how close my two blue suedes are:

I read about how the top of the boot attaches to the shift knob, if it could have that plastic ring that the stock does, that would be great, but it sounds like you got it covered.

what are the stitch colors?

are those your JDM seats?

P.S. you can send me one, I can compare it to my RedLineGoods hehe

The boot does not connect to the shift knob. Instead the very top of the shift boot folds down and is connected to a plastic/rubber (may change up materials) piece. This piece make the shift boot look better, and it can slide up and down but when you add on the clamp is keeps it in place.

The stitching colors are black, white, red, blue, green, and gray.

And yes, those are my beloved V2 seats. So many compliments on 'em
