This is a complete kit that comes with everything you need. It is an easy install and will finally let us NA guys compete with the likes of the WRX people.

The first 10 kits are almost complete and will be ready to ship for the first or second week of October, 2009

We are currently taking deposits for the people that want to be first in line for this exciting kit.

The cost of the kit is $3850.00 CND (Plus shipping)

The price of the kit MAY be lower when ready to ship, it will not be more.

Each kit will come with:
1) Newly designed quieter charger
2) By Pass Valve
3) 3 X Silicone 90's
4) Silicone Coupler
5) Oil Catch Can
6) Gates Belt
7) Cone Air Filter
8) Charger Bracket
9) Bracket Stay for both GC and GD body styles
10) Flat Idler
11) Grooved Idler
12) 6 PSI Pulley
13) Charge Pipe
14) Moristech Pro Sequential Engine Management
15) All hoses, clamps, connectors, etc

Right now the kits will only fit a MAP based 2.x NA Subaru engine. MAF based kits will be ready next followed by the kits that will fit the newer 2.5i engines.

If you own an 04 with the plastic manifold please be aware that you will have to replace the manifold with an aluminum one. Ask us about this as we have some spares in our shop if you are needing one.

To answer some questions:

1) 50 state legal - no idea to be honest. You should know the rules for modded cars in your area before using this product. I know here in Canada it is somewhat frowned upon ... but it is only illegal till you get caught. ;)

2) Max PSI for the charger is irrelevant. Max PSI for your car on the other hand... different story. We find that 6 PSI is a nice place to be on the stock engine, we have one car running higher but supporting mods needed to be done (fuel etc)

If you want to run high boost then you may want to consider internals etc. But to be honest... if you are going to do that it may not be the most cost effective product for you.

3) Power numbers etc from North American cars are coming shortly. We had our car all ready for the dyno but the tuner had an issue with their stack and we had to postpone. They are coming.

4) This is a product that we will be supporting for a long time. We are building 10 MAP based kits right now then going to move to old MAF then the newer MAF. For those of you with MAF cars and don't mind going to a stand alone that can eliminate MAF and run MAP (like an AEM) you can choose this kit from now. (GC8 style) The 05+ cars we need to build a different style bracket because the intake manifold is different.

We are committed to his product wholeheartedly. We are Subaru guys just like you.

I am here to answer questions, the vendor/reseller is Touge Tuning for the product.

Any idea on a time frame for the older MAF kit?

I will embellish this thread with videos, dyno charts and more over the next day or so.

Please enjoy this new video which shows the difference between 2 Subaru's, one with supercharger connected and the other with Supercharger disconnected for a test of difference. At beginning of video there is also comparison of same 2 cars both with fully functioning supercharger systems.

Do you want your Subaru to perform as shown in this video, do you want to have a difference this big for the money you spend?? Ask yourself these questions and think about 4hrs of easy work to achieve this result......... check it out!

MPG on cruise for this system is 12 - 13 km/l or 28 - 30mpg USA gallons on cruise control @ 64mph

I noticed the supercharger seemed to still be in the intake tract during the disconnected test, does that sap any hp? Just asking because I'm trying to determine just how much more powerful the ej20 @ 8psi is over a n/a 165hp 2.5. Seems like the ej20 totally smoked the 2.5 with very low boost on the 2.0.

I am intersted in this but the price is kinda high, and there isn't numbers for the 2.2 yet, has anyone used this kit yet with the 2.2 Impreza engine?
you could pretty much buy a WRX swap for the price this kit costs, however if the super charger gives better numbers then its possibly worth it.

Do you really think you could do a swap for this price?

Remember... pricing on our site is CND....

Engine, Wiring, labour, etc

This kit bolts into the car in around 4 hours, is removable, and pretty much leaves no trace.

Which means... easily resellable for pretty close to what you paid.

The parts don't really wear out on this kit. Biggest thing that may need refreshing is the drive belt.
