Default want to paint rims

i searched and no one's posts answered my questions.

i have a set of wrx rims and i want to paint them pink (yes, pink). the person we bought them from had them painted black. we are going to sandblast them, then paint over it. what kind of paint is good to buy and where can we get it?

powdercoating is too expensive right now. i also can't find pink paint at autozone, etc.

thanks

Just go to walmart...I always spray paint mine. It is cheap and easy to redo if needed. I was thinking about painting mine pink this week as well...

FYI pick up a pack of playing cards while you are there getting the paint. stick them between the rim and tire while painting, its wayyyy easier then trying to mask it all off.

if you find some pink paint can you let me know where you got it? if they do have it at walmart i'll look, but if you are painting them too i'll get what you get.

they aren't even on tires yet lol, whole other story.

Oh cool, It makes them way easier to paint without the tires on. You just have to worry about them getting scratched when they do get put on. I'm going to be out by walmart here shortly for a stupid super bowl party, I'll stop in and see what they have and report back.

Rather than sandblasting and having sand in your eyes ears and nose for a few days, use this:

I've yet to see it fail. Just be careful when using it, it likes to eat thin gloves and toothbrushes.
