Default weight loss and adaptibility for my gc2

idk if this is the right section so go ahead and move it if you need to.

so i have my 93 gc2 (4 door imp) i am thinking about easy things to do to lighten it up. i just put lego seats in it that i think will come back out they are heavy lol. are there any lighter seats then my stock ones? what else can i do to lighten it up? its still my dd so want it to be pretty streetable and friendly to roll in.

also i got some sti parts like exhaust, fuel pump, and intercooler. since its na i will hold off on the tmic and will i have to mod the exhaust for na then again for turbo? or just different downpipe or header? and will the fuel pump plug right it? i think it would give extra cfms so if would always have what it needs iwont do anything with the intake till it gets the turbo so there is a possibility n my head thet the bigger pump would flood the engine idk tho.

There are lighter seat out there, sure, but to really save weight, you'd probably have to go with some light-weight racing seat, not great for a daily driver.

It will fit if you put a 02-02 WRX dash in your car.

Your car is pretty light as it is.

Unless you plan on tracking your car, I wouldn't make any effort to get every pound off your car.

Not to mention, telling by your post, you are still learning, I don't think racing seats would be a good idea for a daily, or for a good first mod.
-You won't see benefits on the street (even many racers won't see benefits)
-Do you know any good brands? When people say the vague term, 'racing seats' I don't think they know the correct terms are bucket seats or sport seats.

ok lol im kinda looking for seats that look cooler without adding weight. i know these i just put in add a lot i would think like fifty pounds extra. my biggest question is what dont i need? i know its pretty light and ten pounds here or there i wont really notice but things that are just for girls that i can eliminate would be cool lol

Now we're cooking with charcoal!

The WRX seats sure look better than our seats. The problem with GD rear seats is they sit too high. If you bend the bars up on the back of the seats, they'll sit more flush (and lower)

The cheapest and safest aftermarket seats are the Corbeaus. The A4 is my personal favorite, because it looks awesome and only costs under $400.

However, i'm saving for a Recaro Speed now.

JDM Lightweight bumper beam if you are really desperate knocks off about 7lbs. Isn't 5 mph crash safety approved.
Light weight racing tires.
Light weight battery.
