launch a lil higher, shift a lot quicker. car sounds sick though. oh and you got a dashboard, pansy.

technically it isnt a dog box since it doesnt have dog box "engagement". this is a common confusion. my gear box is a synchronized spur cut transmission.

haha.. maybe when i figure out my 3rd gear issue and some motul gear oils. i was luanching around 5-5.5rpms.. hooks fine 1.7 60ft on all passes besides the 1st one.

Doesn't make it a dog box. Just straight gears. He also says it has a ppg 5 sp. Which is odd since I remember have a conversation with Xtian about his six speed. Why the change I wonder. I was also counting the gears and said to myself, how is he in forth at the end of the quarter. Not possible in a six speed unless you are slow.

Oh, and 117mph can hit 11s.

1.6 is what you need man. 1.7 is good, but a 1.6-1.5 will give you a lot in your et

what tires are you running?

edit: lol didnt watch whole vid.

all seasons worked great for me in the ej18t. lauched at 5800-6000, all four would spin a bit but by that time i was going into second gear. Gave me 1.6's all day long.

yeah man.. it would be nice. just wanted to make sure everything was all good with the new trans since i never really driven it hard after the install.

oh and brydon, yeah..i have a built 5mt now.. i traded my 04 6mt for it. it was a very nice trans but couldnt afford a 6mt spur cut box like i wanted.

Were you worried about the six speed for some reason? I've seen them in the 11s and 10s before with no issues. And they have better syncros. 5 speed has a better ratio for drag racing thou.

^^^ was just annoyed of my dccd issues i was having..

over all i was just trying to try something new and different. once i break this trans i might want a 6mt with custom gearing..
