I pretty much answered my own questions with my thread.

Does this swap info also apply to the USDM STi components as well? Im contemplating doing the labor myself so I'm just curious to see if the procedure is the same.

Cheers.

Regarding the front sway bar, what is the main difference between a WRX wagon piece and a Legacy Turbo one? I have a Legacy Turbo crossmember and (obviously) a WRX wagon one would be easier to find. If it is just a matter of attachment brackets, can't the crossmember be modified or new brackets made?

Also, without using a fuel pump controller, I plan on wiring in a Walbro and switching the fuel pump relay with a simple ignition power source. I am pretty sure that with an OpenECU flash I can remove the code for the fuel pump controller. Does this all seem right?

There is no difference between the Legacy SS sway and the WRX wagon one - they will both bolt up to a Legacy xmember. You can remove the code for the fpc if you opt not to use one, but keep in mind that will mean that your pump will prime 100% of the time that the ig relay is on.

Any differences between a USDM WRX motor and a USDM WRX STi motor as far as a swap goes?

Thanks!

Yes, the STI is all drive-by-wire. This makes some things way easier, and many things way harder...and that's just the tip of the iceberg in differences.

Oh, and that iceberg gets WAY bigger once you start including the rest of the drivetrain. I promise.

Speaking of all this, can i remove airbag codes and the like with an ECU reflash?
