Yeah the Prodrive WR is much more gentle than the Ver2 SH-RA's I had on before these... in normal cruising mode.

The WR's firm up nicely when cornering near the limit though. All in all I would have to say, a great modification in that it changes everything... although I did change to more neutral alignment specs at the same time.

Tires are 205/40-17 RT-615's. As short as you can get. Agreed, they look stupid but I'd rather look a bit silly than get rubbing.

Funny thing is, right on the tires it says "do not mount on 7.5" wide rims" or something to that extent.

How do you like the new projector headlamps? How's the lighting compared to the Morettes?

The HID projectors (S2K) are brighter and wider with more "colour" but damn, they are spendy!

These ones are low beam only too so I have been waving to people quite a bit and that feels pretty odd.

And it never feels quite like it's adjusted/aimed correctly for whatever reason.

I should learn to flash people with my Hella 500's!

Just realized that this is a silly name for a thread... anyhoo!

Got the EJ257 shorty VF36 twin scrolled and Ver8 SpecC headed now and with the 6 speed + short tires, she's never far off boost but it certainly isn't instant like most people say. My definition of instant is naturally aspired throttle control quickness both in the acceleration and the engine braking departments as determined by the butt dyno. Perception is everything after all right?

With the old stock Ver8 SpecC engine, I used to say that I could crush myself on a tight autox course but I don't believe that's the case anymore since low speed/low rev drivability has been improved by a huge margin.

Quicker over more of the rev range yes. Instant? No.

There's a bit of a stumble too sometimes but maybe because I'm using an untuned Ver8 ECU. Going to finish up the break-in period before I even think about tuning.

Here are some new high res pictures taken this past weekend at a local meet by a guy with a WAYY nicer camera than my dinky pea shooter.

Nice car. I saw it sitting in PM last month. It really crushes me to see such a nice red classic impreza... Mine is a coupe and the same colour but i long to paint it rally blue.

Red is ok. If I had my choice, mine wouldn't be red either though! But then again, we always want what we don't have.
