No 15"/16" diameter rims fit over the Brembos period.

No 17x7.0 rims fit over the Brembos and don't stick out way too far to not rub the fender.

No 17x8.0 rims don't rub on the strut and not rub on the fender.

No 18" tires are made that are narrow enough to not rub. 205 is the widest I can go.

225/45-17 on 17x7.5 ET53 (a la Ver7 rims) rubs on the strut. Inside of rims rub on the struts. Tires rub on the fender.

205/50-17 on 17x7.5 ET48 just clears the strut but rubs on unrolled fenders front and back.

On the plus side, this thing should tear around a track like a cat on roids because of the substantially wider track (when I finally get the front fenders rolled) and put on some stiffer suspension.

Very nicely done!!! The Ver7 wheels look great on there. What suspension setup are you running?

Well I'm running old WRX "SH-RA" struts and springs bought second hand from Kevin Thomas of NASIOC. My local rally shop mechanic tells me it's some old Forester suspension according to the part #'s but Rallispec told me it originally came from a GC WRX somewhere in this world of ours. Who knows?

Apparently Kevin got them from SPD USA and paid a mint. They served me well in the old stock powered RS I had but they are so definitely NOT up to the task of this car's capabilities.

I'd like something like P1 or Ver6 suspension eventually. Would actually prefer if the ride height increased by about an inch so that I can bomb railroad tracks and the like.

Sweet ride Billy. I think you should swap out your Morettes and sell them to me before I get painted in the spring.

If you want my honest opinion swap out the brakes for a 4\2 setup and get V5 goldies or Superturismos. Then out come the Morettes and the Cwest grill. 2000 clear headlights and corners along with V5 grill. V6 lip and then you have the perfect wagon.

As for the spoiler debate it's a matter of personal taste. I used to think that STI roof required STI waist for the perfect set. Now I'm not so sure. At times from certain angles the STI waist looks excessive, other times it's perfect. Stock Obs seems perfect from some angles puny from others. I think the mid point of the 2 is where perfection lays.

Also I've seen the STI roof without a waist and it looked really good too. In fact the guy that bought my STI roof spoiler runs it without a waist and it looks fine.

BTW ebay has a replica STI waist for sale at a decent price right now. The listing has ended twice now without it being sold. Of course this only happens after I give up looking for one for 3 yrs because I secured an OBS waist already.

Big Franco! Dude! I thought you loathe the redness?!

Haha, ok well I hate front lips because they rub on everything!

Don't know why but I hate the Ver5 grill with a passion.

SuperT's, well I don't think I want to deal with cleaning those anymore since I'm a lazy fuck.

V6 lip is very small and doesn't really make the front end that much lower. It's just a look.

The sharp thin lines of the Cwest don't comp the car's soft lines.

How about the Oricari grill and lip?

SuperT's, but in a gunmetal will hide all brake dust, look good and allow you to be lazy.
