Smile DIY JDM Coupe Rainguards

So I saw Broken Motorsports selling one of these and I jumped on it!! I hate it when its raining and I want to roll down the windows only to get soaked well no more!

Ok so on with the DIY

From talking with T3hwit I believe the coupe and sedans have a different install, hence the "Coupe" in the title

So these were brand new so if you are buying used you will need to add some 3M double sided tape prior.

Also make sure you clean the surface that will have the tape on it prior.

here are the tape locations

First step Both sides: Pull down the weather stripping as seen here, it comes down pretty easily

Next step: push the guards up as seen so that the clips snap in

(Back)

(Front)

Make sure you align the front with the seam between the front pillar and the fender, as seen in this pic.

Next step (drivers side): If you dont want to dremel out where the antenna is you can just take it off (torx 30) then mount the guard.

now once you have them where you want, pull the tape like shown and slowly press down

lastly just push the weather stripping back up! I found it was easier to push the inside up then the outside

done!

I was thinking about taking mine off and dremeling where the antenna is, but figured I shouldn't just in case I part out.

They don't work for shit either lol, but they look awesome!!!

Just an FYI for anyone wanting to get these, probably obvious to some of you but I just found this out today as I went to install it

These do not work with aftermarket roof racks!

Time to look for a different roof rack
