they forgot to mention that bug/tar remover will dull your paint, and you need to take the polish to it after finishing.

I used my heatgun and my thumb.. and it was still a bit more difficult than he showed. The minor burns on my thumb didn't help either It took me a few washings to get rid of all of the residue on the trunk.

or you could just go to NAPA and buy some 3M adheasive remover, spary it on, let it sit for a couple of minutes and pop the badges off. any crap left behind will wipe right off without scrubing. you could debadge a trunk in less than 5 minutes.

3M adheasive remover, best ev4r!

i used that kinda technique only i didn't heat it up after the badge was off... worked pretty well, no ghosting or nothing

Eh... after an incident with my heat gun and a friends bugeye headlamps, I kinda hesitant to use my heat gun again lols

Heat guns are great.. you just have to learn how to use them. They're also a lot quieter than most hair dryers.
